Hey fam! Once again, I have failed at blogging, and I'm so sorry! I haven't been all that inspired to be honest, and I have had life just come at me in the past three weeks. I do hope to maintaining a schedule for this so I can give you all timely content at good quality!
Now, I know that it is too late for an August favorites post, and too early for a September one. I thought about waiting it out, but I just simply couldn't! I decided to just mash up the things that I am currently loving at this very moment, right now. Maybe in the future, I'll be more on-time with these favorites.. we shall see!
First up is a product I never thought I would be obsessed over. I have heard that Rimmel's foundations kind of run a bit pink-ish in tone, which sucks for people like me who are more olive-toned. I was currently running out of my e.l.f. tinted moisturizer, and I needed to find a budget-friendly alternative ASAP. I remembered my color in Maybelline's foundations and I decided to look through my other options. The closest (and cheapest) one I found was this little guy, and I was determined to give it a shot. After all, it was $4! I was very surprised with the results of this, because it makes my face just matte enough, not so much that I look cakey. I am in love with this foundation!
This next product is something I have actually had for several months now. This nude palette from Maybelline has such gorgeous colors and has been a staple for quite some time. I decided to change up looks, and I'm obsessed with the gold, the matte skin-tone, the matte dark brown, and that shimmery taupe-ish color. They just compliment me so well, it's my new go-to look this fall!
So, I don't know about you college kids, but trying to find the perfect "gameday" colors is harder than trying to figure out student loans. There are so many colors that could be the right one, but then you realize it's way off! I was actually at work when I saw this from Forever 21 (shade is Sangria), and I became obsessed! I ended up buying it, and I currently have them on my nails! Since USC's colors are garnet and black, this color was a perfect match! I love it!
This was another product that I bought on a (budgeted) whim. I was trying to find another dry shampoo when I stumbled upon this beaut! My sister and I were obsessed with the scent, and I enjoyed the fact that it gives added volume to second, third, or fourth day hair! Whenever I actually do my hair, it gets flat really quick, and this dry shampoo not only keeps that gross oil away, but it makes my hair have the perfect amount of volume that it looks like I just got my hair re-done! It is so worth it!
Moving onto clothing, I am back into my love for sweater weather! Although in the south it is still pretty hot, the mornings (and overcast days) have been pretty chilly. The pullover on the right is one of my many amazing Goodwill finds, at only $3! I seriously recommend going to your local thrift store to find sweaters and flannels, because you get pretty good quality items for dirt cheap. That sweater is going to be a huge staple for when it gets colder around here!
The one on the left is from Forever 21, and it is the best $20 I have ever spent on a heavy cardigan! It keeps me super warm during those brisk, 40-something mornings we southerners have been having. When it gets to be October, I'm most likely going to wear this so much!
Another gameday find from Forever 21, this cross-body is going to be another staple of mine! I have heard that these types of bags work best during gamedays, but I have been using mine 24/7! It's a pretty decent size, not to small, not too big. I usually try to get bigger bags so I can hold a lot more, but I've noticed I literally throw everything in them! The switch to this one makes it easier to keep my bag clean, and not impulsively just throw receipts and other random things into my bag. It's so awesome!
My last favorite is kind of random, but I couldn't miss the opportunity to post this! I like to DIY for the fall season for some reason, and I decided to make my own garland! I was going to buy one from Target, but I was not about to be spending so much money on something I could do easily. I ended up spending about $8-$9 instead of about $13! I might put up a tutorial on this, so let me know if that would be something you guys are interested in!
Well, there you have it! Looking back at this post, it's kind of my fall favorites... regardless, these are my current favorites and obsessions. I hope you guys enjoyed this!
Also, let me know what you guys are loving! And what is making you excited for the falltime? I love bonding over this season, it's just so awesome!
Love and blessings,
Leighan

Okay, so I don't know about you guys, but I love planners! This one by Blue Sky is so functional, and not to mention cute! This exact one can't be found online, but go to the Blue Sky website, and they have the gold one in stock! I love that it has the month-and-week-at-a-glances, which make it easier for me to properly plan out my weeks accordingly! I will admit I have not been on my planner game for a bit, but once things start up for me, I'll be using this a whole lot more!
This next favorite is such a staple for me, especially in the upcoming months. Bath & Body Works always gets me with their festive candles, and I couldn't help but pick one up last week! I will admit, as much as I love pumpkin and all of that, I am not really feeling pumpkin scents that much! I do still love my Sweater Weather candle though, which will always be my favorite. The Vanilla Chai is from last year, and as of this post, it is currently run out! I don't think they are carrying it anymore which stinks, but I'm so willing to try out newer ones. As of this post, they are having their 2 for $24 on candles, so go grab some! If you are on a budget, I also highly recommend Glade's fall scents! I have Hit the Road, and it was only $2, and it's amazing!
So, I am that person that likes to change up their throws and pillows for each season. I decided on not getting new pillows (for now), but I was on the hunt for a good, budget-friendly blanket. I had the idea of a gray one in mind, which was not easy to find. This one from Walmart was only $9, and it is honestly one of the best blankets I've owned! I can't find the exact one online, but check out your local Walmart in the home section to find them! I believe it was a part of the whole college section they had, and this size the twin-XL. It is SO SOFT, and it puts me in this warm, cozy mood! And it looks so good with my pillows that I have from last year!

This fall season, I am even more obsessed with creating/finding playlists that perfectly set up the mood! I have scoured Spotify high and low for some, but only came across one that I enjoyed. I decided to make my own on there, and I constantly listen to it! To be honest, the whole playlist is Sleeping at Last's Atlas EP because it just screams fall! I also have been enjoying old-school Christian music, like MercyMe's Almost There and Casting Crown's The Altar and the Door. It is such a throwback, but I really do love them! Head over to my Spotify to see what else I'm listening to!

If any of you are Tumblr users, you'll know why I have put this one as a favorite! I recently re-made a Tumblr that sort of coincides with this blog, so you all can see what I'm loving! Recently, I've been reblogging a LOT of fall-themed posts, and I honestly have no shame. I used to have another one with a pretty decent following, but that was a part of me that I am not really feeling revisiting, hence the remake! If you are Tumblr-obsessed, and have that sweet tooth for fall like I do, head over to the blog!

Hello friends! I am SO sorry about not posting anything for a week. Life happened again, and this time, it brought finals along with it, so I have been dealing with that. Also, I have been trying to think of a post to give you guys, and also I have to brainstorm on some summer posts. I have a few in mind that I think you guys will enjoy, but we shall see!
Anyways, I wanted to kind of show you guys what I've been loving in terms of beauty, jewelry, and a few random things. I did not have that much favorites this month, but I figured I would show you guys what I've been using non-stop this month!
Beauty/Skincare
Lancome Maquiriche Quad in (L to R) Gardenia, Cedre Soleil, Burnt Sand, and Rustique.
For beauty, I'll start out with this quad by Lancome. I recently rediscovered this quad in my sister's room, of all places. It was my stepmom's, and I have been really obsessed with it. I love using the copper brown to the right on my lid whenever I want to do a copper-y summer eye, which I have been obsessed with doing lately. I'll try to do a tutorial on that soon, by the way! Anyways, I love the colors in this, and the white shade is perfect for highlighting the inner corners and browbone! Apparently, this quad is discontinued, but you can definitely find it online!
These beauties are my absolute favorites from this favorites post! I got these for my birthday this month from Sephora, and I will be honest, I was a bit skeptical on the pink shade. On the email, it says it is a universally flattering shade. Considering I am pretty tan naturally, thanks to my being Hispanic, I was worried this would look like a horrible bubblegum pink shade. But it was the opposite! It was basically the same color of my lips naturally, and it was such a perfect nude! And I am obsessed with the matte red shade. Any matte, darker reds are a favorite of mine! I am definitely going to buy the regular ones and stock up!
L: Rikugien - Rose Pink. R: Cruella.
Next up is this mascara from CoverGirl. I had heard such great things about this mascara from various different beauty gurus, so I had to try it! It makes my short, flat lashes look so much longer! I do wish I had gotten it in the regular formula rather than the waterproof because it is such a killer to get off. Besides that, it gives the length my lashes really deserved without it looking cartoonish, and makes them fuller. It is so hard to find a good lengthening mascara for my lashes, and this does it perfectly! I highly recommend if you have short lashes like I do that are a pain to deal with!
This dry shampoo from Not Your Mother's is my new favorite dry shampoo at the moment. It is like a regular dry shampoo, but it doesn't leave a lot of residue for me, which I love. It smells really great, and I have been using it a lot. I wish I can say I use this only after I come from the gym, but to be honest, this product has gotten its fair share of usage! Also, I've noticed with other dry shampoos it makes my head itchy after a while. This one doesn't give me that problem, which is great!
Last on the beauty list is this scrub from St. Ives. I have been using this a lot whenever I'm really tired and know that my face will be looking really dull if I don't get some sort of life back into it, and this does the trick! It's a light exfoliant, so it is perfect for everyday use. I like to use this 2-3 times a week just to keep any flakes at bay, and to keep my face looking more awake. It is perfect for when you stayed up late studying for exams or finishing up last-minute homework and want to brighten up your face in the AM so you can skip all of that highlighting when you're too lazy to do so. And the smell really wakes up the senses as well!
Accessories
For jewelry, I have been keeping to quite simple. I have been recently loving small earrings again, I was never a huge, detailed earring fan, so I've always tended to go for smaller ones. These from Forever 21 are so cute! They are also very wearable with anything, so I can just put whatever pair I feel like wearing on. You can wear the first two with any color jewelry, and they just look timeless.
Last on my jewelry is this bracelet! I got it as a gift for my birthday, and I am obsessed with it! It is kind of like the Alex & Ani bracelets, and it has a little Carolina logo in the middle with the colors on the beads. I am so excited to wear this on gamedays! This bracelet just makes me excited for school to start in the fall, even though I'm done with school for now. I just cannot wait!
Random
This last item is sort of a random home item, but I love it! It's a room spray from Bath & Body Works, and it smells like summer! Literally though, it smells like the beach, which makes me so happy! I dislike summer because it gets really humid and hot where I live, but I absolutely love the beach, and this just reminds me of it so much! It makes any room smell like you just stepped into the ocean!
So that was all of my favorites for the month of April! I hope you guys enjoyed this! Let me know what was your favorites this month! I love trying out new products and things, so leave me a comment! Thanks!
Yours truly,
Leighan

Hello friends! I am so so SO sorry about not being able to post anything these past few days. Life has been pretty busy, with trying to finish up homework to working. While I was keeping busy, I kept thinking about spring break (which is next week for me WOOOO), and spring in general. Today, it was literally 75 outside, and it was so lovely! Spring fever is totally catching up to me!
Now, I love my cold weather, but it is now time to be bringing out some of my favorite "must-haves" for spring and even spring break. When it comes to warmer weathers, I like to keep things simple in my makeup routine. Instead of having the matte
foundation, I usually swap that for a BB cream because it isn't going to clog your pores, and this kind has built-in acne medicine so that way you can not only cover up, but also help treat a gross zit that had just formed on your face.
To give off that natural dewy look, I like to put on highlighter on the highest point of my cheekbones, close to my temples, and my nose. After that, I usually go for either a tinted chapstick or a tinted, matte balm stain. I've always loved tinted chapsticks because if you don't want to put on makeup on or lipstick but still need some color, that is the product to wear.
During the warmer months, I do not want to be under a hot blowdryer blowing hot air in my face at all. With that, I like to leave my hair natural and put some sea salt spray in them. I have tried so many sea salt products, but the one that blew me away is Tresemme's new product. It leaves my hair smelling wonderfully and you get up in the morning.
I also really like using body lotion. Before, I used to use the spray, but I've realized lotions last longer. If it is too hot or if it is going to rain, I'd suggest getting the body spray ones, Bath & Body Works always never fails to amaze me with their selection, and the new fragrances from there are s o g o o d you have to try!
Clothing-wise, I don't have much. I always keep a pair of cute sunglasses in my car or in my purse. Also, a cute denim jacket will be perfect to throw on those chilly, spring nights. And you can never go.wrong without a cute sundress! PacSun has pretty decent ones, just check out their clearance section if the prices bother you!
So, what are you guys' spring essentials? And what are you guys doing for your spring break? I wanna hear some good ideas before I'm off!
Love,
Leighan

Hello friends!
With Valentine's Day under a week away, it is making me realize how short this holiday is! I mean, when you think of February, you think of all things femme, like roses, those cute and clever drugstore heart-shaped-boxed candies (am I the only one who thinks those are cute or). As a noted lover of all things dark, this is the one month I actually want to bring out all the stops and wear a whole ton of... well, pink! Although I probably cannot do all pink 25/7 because I do not own enough pink in my closet, I do try to make up for it in cosmetics. I loooooove cotton-candy pinks, deep rosy pinks, and the like at this time of year. It makes me so pumped!
So, with that said, I hope you all find some sort of inspiration like I did with these products. And tell me your inspirations for V-Day! What gets you inspired? Is it color, the candies that come out around this time of year, or the big Valentine's section at Target? It would be awesome to see what you guys find inspiration this year!
Love,
Leighan.
P.S.: links to these products will be on my Polyvore page, which is right here!
